Hi Experts
We have a requirement in Business Partner(BP) tcode. We need to change the Standard field label in Business Partner screen. Example: In "Address" tab of Business Partner there is a field "Title". The requirement is change the Field Label "Title" to a different name as per user requirement
We are currently on S/4 HANA 1709.
Please share your expert inputs on whether to use exits or SPRO or BUPT

Maybe you can use the T-code CMOD .
First you need to find the field's data element and use the enhancement to change the label.
And use the T-code CMOD ,Go to -> Text enhancement -> Key words -> change
to change the data element .
Hope it can help you.

Hi,
Thanks!! Already tried this option. But if we change the Field Label of Data Element then it will be impacted on all the screens the data element is used. Because on checking the "where used list" of the data element it is used in multiple tables and structures which in turn could have been used in other standard screens along with Business Partner
In my scenario only in Business Partner it should be impacted. Anyway to restrict like that?

To modify the standard field text, i guess there is only option to use Field exits. if you want that change within BP, you may think about using screen exit, define your own field and hide the standard field.
