SDI Real time replication without delete

Hi SDI experts

we are replicating data into HANA with a real time replication task, everithing is fine, but now the customer is requesting to do not replicate delets for an specific table, now i aware that this can be done as it is posted in the guide Maintain the Source Database without Propagating Changes to SAP HANA, but my question is:

• will this afect INSERTS and UPDATE?
• is there an specific authorization for the user sugested?
• is there a guide where this is more explained?
• HANA Version 2.034.00
• DPAgent Version 2.3.5.1
• Adapter OracleLogReaderAdapter 2.3.5
• DataBase Source Version Oracle DB 11.2.0.4.0
