PDF! doesnt work in NWBC client 5.0

When we go to print preview of PO using ME53N and type PDF!, system doesnt open POP-UP window with PDF copy for download, instead its searching for local folders and displaying PDF's in system under search results.

please help how to activate PDF! command in NWBC client,

Note: Its working when logged in via SAP GUI LOGON

Hi Satheesh,

From your description, it seems that you are running an NWBC connection in the Business Client. The Quick Launch where you are entering the "PDF!" command is not a 1:1 replica of the SAP GUI command field (aka OK code field), but a bit different with additional options, such as Search. Find an overview of the Quick Launch functions here. Also have a look at the Direct Actions to get to know the commands you can use.

In short, you can start transactions by inserting the transaction code in the Quick Lauch, but you cannot use other SAP GUI commands like "PDF!", "/h" etc.

If you need to do this, there is an option to reactivate the command field in the SAP GUI content area. Select Settings > Personalize... from the Business Client menu and check the Enable SAP GUI OK code option. After a restart, the SAP GUI OK code field will appear right to the Menu button, and you can execute all SAP GUI commands from there.

A last note: NWBC 5.0 is out of support for more than a year now; you should upgrade to one of the supported releases (SAP BC 6.5 and 7.0).
