Update Date Field to NULL

Hi Experts!

Is there a way to update a certain field (DATE TO in Fixed Asset Cost Accounting) to no value (NULL)?

I tried uploading thru DTW by leaving the DATE TO field blank but it did not update the field. I also tried using the forward slash / as seen from other community posts, but did not update the field as well.

Would appreciate your help, experts.

Hi,

/ (Slash) is for text fields.

For date field, it should be having the format of YYYYMMDD.

In order to blank a date field, the trick is to use 00000000 as value which is 0000 year, 00 month and 00 day 🙂

Try 20991231 its like 31-Dec-2099 which is like unlimited i follow this for unlimited dates in fix assets
