Changing inspection plan

Hello All,

We are facing this issue from some time and we find some work around rather than drafting a standard/best process for it. Issue is,

Our inspection plan and Master recipe(03 lots) gets changed but MRP has already generated plan orders which gets converted in Process orders and then there is issue with 03 lots. Similar issue with 01 and 04 lots when inspection plan changes.

Process we are following is

1. If lot is in REL state, then from QAC3 bring it to CRTD and then from QA02 change plan.

2. If lot is in RREC(Which they mostly are since we are using LIMS), we use COR2 and then re explode master data but it creates new inspection lots, also what could be done for 01 lots?

3. We are planning to Add an operation with all MICs and use that in case any other test is required.

Can someone please guide me on best practice for such scenarios.

Dear Akash,

I have faced the same issue in my last project.(when some specs are wrongs for MIC which anlyst observed after prodn. order released)

We can able to Reassign the Quality plan to already created Inspection Lot after adding new Mic's to the existing quality plan in case of independent lot origins (01,04,08,09) with QAC3.

As per the same scenario faced, I was not able to reset the REL CALC status lot to CRTD CHCR with QAC3 due to the Lot origin (03) which is in integrated with Process/Prodn. order release.

Also, I have tested in IDES Demo system that, we can add a new MIC in Result recording screen with "the MIC is having complete copy model' set .

Please review above points, post us if you also get any suggestions which solve your issue.

Hi Akash, you can add extra MIC's in a live inspection lot that cannot be reset. Just click on the plus sign for Add MIC and enter the specification details.
