Multiple Channels Match "PUT" Error in Sender Rest Channel

We have an existing scenario REST to Proxy, where sender rest channel is running with the error "Multiple Channels match "PUT" request to XXX (Endpoint URL mentioned in channel).Request Rejected. "

No configuration changes were made to the channel, suddenly the channel went into error. Channel ping status is also showing success. Tried restarting the channel, but in vain.

Any suggestions on how to solve the issue.

Note: our system is single stack with SP stack number 14.
