SAP B1 licensing

Hello all,

Is it possible to remove SAP B1 licenses? We are looking at implementing a new CRM system alongside SAP B1, and it is likely that some of our sales team staff members who currently have CRM licenses for SAP B1, will not require SAP B1 licenses anymore. However, our SAP B1 partner is saying that we cannot reduce the number of SAP B1 licenses! We have to continue paying maintenance for them all or nothing?!!

For AMC you con not do this however its either termination of all licensing in terms of support from SAP or you can merge two license to upgrade to professional

But all this depends upon your region and partner policies and agreements with SAP

I think your partner is telling the truth. You can get new licences but not decrease you have.

Perhaps with SBO in the cloud you can do it, but I am not sure.
