Hi,

I have deployed a localization solution and I wanted to edit my BAC file for some adjustments. Is there anyway to edit or recreate it? Appreciate all the help.

Thanks and Regards,

JM

Dear JM,

Then the only option is to recreate new solution with the correct settings for the BC options. You can trigger the deletion of the old solution, provided its only deployed to one tenant.

Hi Anant,

Is it possible for you to check if the scoping question is visible in the BYD tenant? Maybe our consultant just cannot find it.

Thanks and Regards,

JM

@ JM - I discussed this issue with BC expert and found that country was not scoped. I have updated incident with details.

Please check and confirm

Dear JM,

I see that you have created an incident for this issue. Ideally once anchor is created the scoping question should be visible in the system. I am analyzing this issue from backend and will update the incident.

Dear JM,

Once the solution is assembled then the maintenance mode restrictions will apply.

Kindly refer to the below help documentation for details information:

8.2.2.3 Maintenance of Business Configuration Content

Page 321 in our SAP Cloud Application Studio documentation.

Hi Anant,

If I create another BAC file, will it affect the whole solution? I will be having 2 BAC file in that case since I cannot delete the previous one.

Dear JM,

Creation of second BAC could not be a feasible solution as multiple BAC creation is not possible. You can try adding or edit existing BAC to resolve this issue.

Hi Anant,

Hmm, is there any way to change the type of business configuration? As in the document it says it is not allowed to edit. In that case I need to recreate the solution? Or does it have any other way to edit the type? I wanted to change the type of BC because our consultant says that the scoping question I declared is not visible in the BC work center. Any advise?

Regards,

JM
