QC Inspection during production

Hi,

we are looking for a possibility to do QC - inspection (with QC department and qc-plan used) during production as well as at the end of the production model.

Is there any way to add such a task to the productin model?

Dear Klaus,

We could see that your requirement can be achieved via below Inspection types.

In-Process Inspection – Production: To carry out inspections while production is ongoing.

Final Inspection – Production: To inspect the final product before sending it from production to the warehouse.

Ideally When a “Check” operation is defined the Production Model, during release of Production order, it creates a Check task and inspection of type “Final Inspection- Production” only . Check operations are generally at the end i.e. after make/supply.

However, you can still wish to create inspection manually(ad-hoc) in the midst of production. The plan to carry out inspection could be different from that during the final stage. We allow an inspection plan of type “In-Process Inspection – Production” for this purpose.
