Production Confirmed with AI orders - Not firmed Not fixed

Dears.

For no apparent action or reason the key figure Production Confirmed (9AFPROD) has orders that are not firmed or confirmed. ATP Category is AI. This is in the entire horizon of next 53 buckets. Production confirmed ALSO has process orders AA and AB from ECC and that is all good per the ATP Category groups/ATP category assigned to this key fig in the planning

But

What could be the possible reasons for Production Confirmed key figure to have the AI orders for the entire horizon when no one did anything? Neither in APO nor in ECC. The quantities are just about the same as Production Planned. ..bucket by bucket. But there are multiple Production Orders of type AI when I click details.

What action could have triggered this?

PS: The planned orders continue to exist in the production planned key figure

You can go to product view transaction (/SAPAPO/RRP3), type GT_IO command in the transaction screen and check when these orders are created - you might get a hint on what could have possibly be done at that time which triggered these orders.

Someone should have triggered the PP heuristic - what is your PPDS horizon?

If not, what planning engine you are using? CTM? If yes, check what orders you are creating using CTM for planned orders - maybe AI category for in-house production (check this in /SAPAPO/CTMCUST).

Overall, there should be a valid reason why these orders are created, if you don't need them - please delete using DELETE_PP_ORDER (choose to send to ECC as well if they are also in ECC).

Thanks Guru, I saw it was created as a PPDS order locally in APO. It was created 'around' the same time SNP planned orders were created. Both PPDS and SNP horizon and time fences etc all 0.

Since I am the only one using the box, it must have been because of some of my actions! but I run optimizer. For now I deleted these orders but continue to wonder why should both Production order planned and Production order confirmed exist for the same mat-loc at the same time with same set of dates, times and quantities.
