About PBS and PCL servers

Hi experts,

I am working on the PBS tool but want to know about the PCL server.

Is this PBS is a tool or server like ADK tool and as i know PCL is a server.

please clarify me about the PBS/PCL scenario.

Hi,

We are official PBS resellers so here are some information:

> PBS is the name of the company

> PBS is providing various add-ons, some are pure ABAP development, some are external applications requiring their own server

>> PBS Archive add-ons, pure ABAP developments, ensure full access to the archived data in the users' well known transactions and screens => Users are not impacted by archiving;

>> PCL, the PBS ContentLink, is an external application requiring its own server. It allows connecting SAP to Storage/archiving solutions which are not natively compatible with ArchiveLink.
