Work with Team not mapped under the same org unit

Hi,

Is there any known work around to build Team (group of people working together that can be assigned to the project) that are not mapped under the same Org Unit in the Org Structure?

What happen is that, when getting a new project, even though the filter function allows to shorten the research (Resource Management > Resource Search), we do not have the possibility of checking the availability of a certain team made up of employee located all over the world (intercompany scenario).

What the system consider a team is composed by all the employee assigned to a specific Org Unit. In that case, the Org Unit Manager can check the availability/abesences/bookings.

I need to find a work around for having the same results but building different kind of teams made up of people available in all the entities of our company.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Cristina,

the artifact you are looking for does not exist in ByDesign.

I am, however, aware that some time ago our SAP Cloud Service Center built a resource search solution comprising so-called resource pools (the teams you are looking for).

You might want to inquire with cloudsolutionpartner@sap.com.
