comments in AO for office / BPC 11 embedded / consolidation

Hi AO gurus:

I know that normally we are able to save comments through AO using input ready queries, but is this possible on non-input ready queries in AO? for example: Consolidated Balance Sheet report, accounts in rows and YTD values in columns, can I save comments for an specific account?

Hi Joseph,

I see two options

1 Use 'comments' based on characteristics as key figure; here 'comments' are stored in a DSO (advanced), thus you have to use a DSO as part provider in your data model; for the comment purpose you need an input-ready query, but you can make only data from this DSO input-ready.

2 Use the new document/comment feature as explained here:

Here also reporting queries are supported.
