Dear Experts,

We want to create a report in out company which gives us list of opportunity which doesnt have a Party Role. For example we have a Supplier party role and I want to find list of opportunity who doesnt have suppliers from reporting.

And also add the same in dashboard, How can I do that? Looks very simple but i am struggling to make 1.

Hello Dhruvin,

To fulfill your requirement I would suggest you to just use the "Is Not" operator in the field "Party Role" when using your Opportunity Involved Parties Data Source. I'm attaching a few screenshots below, from one of our Internal Test Systems, with one example on how you could achieve it.

1. In the Opportunity Involved Parties report / Data Source, go to the report selection, open the value help for the field "Party Role" and select the record you need to exclude from the report results (in your case it would be 'Supplier').

2. Back in the report selection pane, click on the "+" or ">" symbol to show the list of conditions/operators.

3. Select the operator "Is Not".

4. Run the report. If you add the relevant fields, you will see that the value selected is successfully excluded from the results, as desired.

Now, to make it available to your end users, you can save this as a new selection in your report as a Key User, from Business Analytics work center > Design Reports work center view, and this view should become available to all end users.

If you need all users not to have access at all to the "Supplier" values in the report, then you may want to configure this in a new report based on Opportunity Involved Parties data source, by adding a Fixed Value Selection on the field "Party Role" to exclude the 'Supplier' value, just like did in step 3 above.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Marlon
