Intercompany sto for retail scenario

Dear All,

We need to implement intercompany sto scenario where we will be sending the article (mm41) from a plant to another store plant. Now the scenario is for plant 1 the field VLFKZ of table T001W is blank. For plant 2 it is A(store). This is retail plant. Now since the VLFKZ table is not blank so the config node where we define the shipping data for plant is not coming which is not allowing me to configure intercompany sto between two company codes.

In Retail, we use Site Masters, not Plants. You can easily determine which locations are Retail Sites by looking at T001W-VLFKZ; if the field is not A or B then this location is a Plant, not a Retail Site. In general, we only use Sites and we do not use a mix of Plants and Sites.

If you are in S/4HANA then ensure that there is a Business Partner created for the location (best practice is that the Plant, Business Partner, Customer, and Vendor all have the same number) then maintain the Plant using WB02; the system will convert the Plant to a Site Master (I assume that you want it to be a Distribution Center, not a Store, so T001W-VLFKZ should = B). If you are in ECC 6.0 then it's the same advice, but obviously without the Business Partner.
