Hi gurus,
I am trying to connect to an oracle database, currently there is already communication between the agent server and the oracle server. When I try to do a connection test I get the following error:
"Oracle shared library <libclntsh.so> not found. Please make sure it is installed and can be located using the library search path (LIBPATH on AIX, LD_LIBRARY_PATH on Solaris/Linux, SHLIB_PATH on HP-UX). Please check the file permissions for <libclntsh.so>."
Any idea?
Regards
Make sure Oracle client is installed and you can find libclntsh.so in $PATH and/or $LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Then restart the agent service. If the agent was running before the client was installed, agent won't be able to find the client. Of course the libclntsh.so permissions must also permit the DS Agent user to execute the file.
