Smart Predict availability in Germany

Hi everybody,

I am writing a paper about SAP Analytics Cloud and I would really appreciate it, if anyone could provide me some informations regarding the availability of Smart Predict in Germany. I already searched about it on the internet, but I couldn't find any relevant information. What could be the reason, why the feature is not yet available? Does anyone have any insider information?

Hello Marcel, I suggest that you refer to the note link I mentioned earlier on. In particular see

What will customers do with existing instances?

• We plan to provide the option to customers with SAP Analytics Cloud on SAP Cloud Platform Neo to migrate their tenants to a supported environment in H2 2019. Customers will need to migrate if they want Smart Predict. It will not be added to Neo.
• Customers can run POC’s on Smart Predict to evaluate the features and prepare for when they are released. Your Account Executive will have details.

Hi Antoine,

When migrating SAC from Neo to Cloud Foundry, it's required to purchase a Cloud Foundry SAC tenant prior to migration.

So, what happens to the old Neo tenant? Are we able to terminate it and get a refund for the remaining unused time?

Hi - it should be available in those tenants that have migrated to Cloud Foundry.
