I need to create a handling unit and have it updated to a delivery without packing items into the handling unit that is created. I am using BAPI_HU_CREATE to create the handling unit. When I try using FM WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2, i keep getting a SYSTEM_FAILURE exception. FM SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PACKING, but this appears that I may need to pack the items into the handling unit. I am sure I could achieve what I need to do via a BDC, but would prefer not to go that route. Does anyone have any thoughts how to accommplish what I am trying to do?
