Hello,
Is there a way to enter a planned independent requirement in MD61 but allocate a specific customer number to consume the forecast? We have cases where multiple customers buy the same material number, but only one customer has the planned independent requirement (forecast).
Hello,
Refer SAP note 1967124 - BAdI enhancement for flexible primary independent requirements consumption/reduction
Business Add-In MD_PIR_FLEX_CONS method GET_REQ_CONS_CHARACTERISTIC which permits you to specify which requirement characteristics are taken into account in the consumption check. The existing method CHECK_PIR_CONS_REDUC is also relevant because the consumption or reduction check is made available by the method GET_REQ_CONS_CHARACTERISTIC.
Also refer KBA 2084268 - How to assign a planned independent requirement to a WBS or a sales order
Read the note documentation for more details

Hello
I don't think the feature exists in the standard demand management. Possible workarounds:
1 - Create an MRP area for each customer and create the forecast at MRP area level.
2 - Use BAdI MD_PIR_FLEX_CONS to determine when the forecast should be consumed.

Caetano
