As the consultant who first time implement the SAP BPC 10.1 embedded model Version for NetWeaver Optimized for S/4 HANA (or Real Time Consolidation) , it would be very useful to have a step by step configuration document as a reference.
In below is a reference document which could give people who are not familiar with Real Time Consolidation a quick overview about the steps needed for integration configuration.
https://mdocs.sap.com/mcm/public/v1/open?shr=ON8UMW6pVEyumm9Gk7IYrCNC8davhH1CgUeVAVcLmig
People should just use this document as a reference, and adjust steps according to own project requirements.
This reference document only apply to SAP S/4 HANA 1610 Release, Support Package FPS0.

Hi Ying,
Great stuff. This thread looks quite promising about the RTC configuration, however the document links do not seem to work anymore.
Is it possible to share the RTC config for 1610 FPS02 ?

Hello Feng,
How did you manage without RTC_AMO in the system? We have the same problem of not having this object in the system.

Hello Ying,
Nice document !
One problem I are facing is that the Key Figure /ERP/RTC_AMO is found missing in our system, there seems no such content I can activate lately. We created ZAMOUNT but it gives us BPC modeling error as William mentioned.
We are in S/4HANA FPS01, where can I find this KF ? Thanks

As I mentioned in incident 20456 / 2017
We didn't deliver key figures in our release plan yet, so you can not find /ERP/RTC_AMO, but /ERP/AMOUNT is ok for reference (may have problem about the compounding unit). To customize your own key figure with type DEC(28,2), you can refer to this link.

Hi William,
I have followed the process you have mentioned above and created a custom key figure. However, i see an issue with 0Currency. The config document mentions that 0CURRENCY needs to be mapped to currency attribute in ECOMP dimension.
However in the drop down in ECOMP dimension while mapping the attribute i don`t see any 0CURRENCY.
Hi Lucas, have you been able to run the consolidation in RTC ? I have faced different issues but I have always found a sap note for every error but now I am stopped in this mapping since I do not find the key figure /ERP/RTC_AMO. You can see that in this official sap document, they mention that *CURRENCY has to be mapped to 0CURRENCY (for /ERP/ECOMP dimension) in page #44 (Configuration Guide for Real-Time Consolidation, Feb 2017) but when I go to bpc web to make these mappings I do not see 0currency there.
I would appreciate your input in this.
Hi, yes I have been able to run RTC.
About the currency, is actually the opposite, you should NOT use 0CURRENCY, instead you must use /ERP/RTCCURR.
The KF for the consolidation amount you need to create and enhance to have no unit/currency and be 28 long with 2 decimal places. As William has pointed above, go through this post to enhance the info object:
https://blogs.sap.com/2014/04/14/customizing-the-domain-for-key-figures/
Hi Lucas, I have created the KF as it is mentioned and I have mapped to /ERP/RTCCURR also, but when I run the currency translation from the monitor, no data is generated in ACDOCC table, take a look at the attached images pls. I have transactional data in ACDOCA and also I have exchange rates in rate infocube.
Regards

Hello Ying,
It is really good to see this content.
Which type of Key figure used for amount /ERP/RTC_AMO in info Provider?
We don't see 0currency which generally comes with amount key figure.

Real Time Consolidation 1610 FPS01 is released to customer, if you already use Real Time Consolidation in SAP S/4HANA 1610 FPS00, it is strongly suggested that you upgrade to FPS01.
For configuration guide for FPS01, you could either find it via EKT material, or could find it in below link:
