Crystal report

I have an issue described below:

I have one universe created on SAP FM and created crystal report on top of this universe.

Later as per business requirement one additional field is added in FM. In IDT using detect field option new field can be seen in Data foundation & business layer. And this new field values can also be seen.

However when I re-publish this business universe in repository and try adding new field in query I get following error.

I am getting same error even if I’m creating all the objects from scratch.

Kindly advice.

Thanks for your reply, I'm using IDT tool for universe development. Where can I find this 'Verify Database' option.

It is working fine at Data foundation layer and Business Layer.

Only when I'm trying to use this universe in BO tool (like Crystal/LUMIRA) it s giving me above mentioned error if I try to add new field in query panel.

Kindly suggest.

Before trying to add the field, go to the Database menu and select "Verify Database". Then try to select the field again.

Also, in the universe design, make sure that the new field/dimension is working correctly before publishing it for use in Crystal.
