Existing assignments option- Not fetching existing roles for few users in GRC 10.0 SP20

Hi Experts,

Existing assignments option is not fetching the roles data for specific users.

Taken base from this link

I am facing same issue. Even though we are running the full Repo sync jobs correctly, some times existing assignments will not show up for few users. But if we try logout from GRC system and login again in some time or use Mozilla, the assignments shown up.

I could not fine this note on service market place 2172233

Please suggest if there is a permanent fix for this issue.

For example:

Requester wants to remove certain roles for user A from system SYSA. When Requester clicks on existing assignments option, it is popping up with SYSA but not the roles of the user A.

But it is working fine for user B. It is showing all the list of roles assigned to user B in SYSA.

It is not an authorization issue. The connector settings are fine.

I have checked the validity of roles for user A in SYSA and validity is till 31.12.9999

Unable to figure out the issue.

Hi Ram,

I have applied SAP NOTE 2255284 and now in existing assignment I can see the business role name in parent role field.

Appreciate your help.

Hello Pooja,

Please Check if these SAP NOTES 2255284,2118201 applies in your scenario.

Also, Check if the roles assigned for user A has status as DEV or TST in Mantain Role Status Configuration in SPRO

Here are the answers for your questions..

• Is User A Existing in the System?

Yes, user will be present in the system.

• Did you check the entries in the table GRACUSERROLE?

Yes, entries will be present in table.

• Are there any future dated roles that is not appearing?

Nothing like that, the whole user profile will show as blank.

• Are the roles that are not appearing are by chance Composite, business or Derived Role?

Nothing like that, the whole user profile show as blank.

Then if i log out of the system and login or use Mozilla. Then I can see the existing users. All our sync jobs are running fine without any issues.

Please help, we need a fix for this issue.

Hello Pooja,

Hope you have executed the synch.job in full synch on the correct connector

Can you provide the following information

• Is User A Existing in the System?
  
• Did you check the entries in the table GRACUSERROLE?
• Are there any future dated roles that is not appearing?
  
• Are the roles that are not appearing are by chance Composite, business or Derived Role?
