How to connect to CMS Repository in BusinessObjects to create a universe?

Environment: SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2 Support Pack 6

Requirement: To create report based on which groups does user belong to.

I understand that we can do this using Query builder but I need a universe so the business can refresh when ever they want without going through admin tool queries.

Hello Joe,

I have a situation, where I am using BI on BI universe to query the CMS repository. (CMS DB - IBM DB2)
From my local machine, I have imported BionBi universe successfuly, but inside IDT, the connection is not successful mainly because driver is not installed / not present.

Which Driver do I need in my case, for both local machine and server machine, both 32bit/ 64bit.

Please help

The driver isn't included in the installation by default. You'll have to run setup in "Modify" mode, then select the CMS connector in the list of data access drivers.

You'll have to do the same on the server, if you want to create WebI reports that use it.
