Master data load issue in SAP BPC 10.1 (Standard) Netweaver

Hi All,

We have a daily update of Master data from BI to BPC. There are few warnings in the package.

The warning in Data Manager Package is as below

No 1 Round: Skip count: 7509

'XXXXX' is not a valid user

Task name MASTER DATA TARGET:

'XXXXX' is not a valid user

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Transformation file mapping for this Field is below

OWNER=0RESP_USER

The Owner field is a property of a User defined dimension and not a property of Entity (E) dimension

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This user is not in the Users list (SECURITY) in BPC system

Do you think the issue can be that the user does not exist in list of users in BPC but when we load the same master data using a FLAT File, the master data is updated successfully without any issue.

Any thought on this why the record is getting skipped while loading from BW to BPC?

If you need any further information, pls. let me know.

Regards,

VRR

Owner property is used for work status assignments and BPF 's.

And this value has to be a valid BPC user. I do not understand the idea of having some user as an owner, but not as BPC user!

You can use other property to store some names, not owner)

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for your quick response. Please find screen shot below. If the user has to be assigned in the "Owner" property, the user should be a valid user in the system?

Please provide a real screenshots! 'XXXXX' - will not help to answer your question! What do you have here? How it's related to your master data??
