Hi,
I'm testing out the InventoryProcessingGoodsAndActivityConfirmationGoodsConfirmationIn web service, namely the Do Goods Change of Stock operation. I've run through the operation in the UI just to make sure all my values are correct, and I've used those in the web service call. However, I'm getting the response back 'No inventory items found for external id THINGY123 item id ITEM1'.
I can't figure it out. Has anyone come across this before?
Hello,
One of reasons - SOAP does not put an Identify Stock value automatically and manually it does.
Try to add corresponding Identify Stock value to your SOAP request.

Hello,
I recognized the same issue with the web service. Manually it works every time and 3 developers took a look at the web service finding no input mistake. I tried every possible opportunity while testing the service but always occurs the same error. Also I have set up a whole new test system to make sure there is no configuration problem in ByD itself.
I urgently need help.
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Inga

Dear Lewis,
Ideally this error occurs when there is no stock available in your source site for this operation to perform.
Could you please try performing Goods Movement operation manually and see if you are facing the same error.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Sandeep
