ESS/MSS in Netweaver As Java 7.5

Hi,

We have installed SAP netweaver 7.5 As Java standalone system with EP ad EPcore and DI.

But we dont see the components ESS and MSS in the portal after installation. Please suggess if we want to install/Confgure any additional Product instance for ESS/MSS.

Hi Sasi,

ESS/MSS is not automatically part of an Enterprise Portal unless you select the correct software products / usage types in Maintenance Planner. You need to select SAP XSS (Self Services) and a couple of Portal Content variants. Bear in mind that there are no NW 7.5 versions of these components, so you're going to select the NW 7.3 versions. Here is what the Software Product Stack looks like for our NW 7.5 Self-Services Portal:

So, yes, you need to configure this as an additional product instance on your portal system.
