Is it possibly to use Enterprise Messaging with S/4HANA On-prem?
All the examples I've seen so far are based on S/4HANA Cloud. EM also requires Communication Arrangement customizing which I was not able to find in On-prem Fiori Launchpad.
The background is that I'd like to utilize AQTP support of EM to build a message exchange between AQTP-enabled MES system and On-prem S/4HANA.
Hi Dimi,
as of the 1809 release, also the S/4 HANA on-prem release is supporting Enterprise Event Enablement: https://help.sap.com/viewer/810dfd34f2cc4f39aa8d946b5204fd9c/1809.000/en-US/c200f98fadb64ff1828ed569...

Hi Dimi,
Therefore ist asection called "create RFC Destination" that ist dir the on-prem Release: https://help.sap.com/viewer/810dfd34f2cc4f39aa8d946b5204fd9c/1809.000/en-US/12559a8c26f34e0bbe8c6d82...dc9c67a0-0913-40f9-84bd-fc781e26e922.png
Hi Tobias,
Section "Create RFC Destination" starts with a step where cerificates need to be downloaded:
To get certificates from SAP Cloud Platform Enterprise Messaging, Cloud Foundry Environment, follow the procedure:
a. Launch the token endpoint URL, https://<enterprise messaging url>/oauth/token that you receive from the service instance of SAP Cloud Platform Enterprise Messaging.
b. Export all the certificates from the certificates path.<br>
As I understand, the token endpoint URL provided in the instance service key is needed to generate bearer token using clientid and client secret but not to handle certificates. It even return an error if called without grant_type defined. If so, how to get the certificates?
Do I miss something?
Here is the URL I am using: https://cfaws.authentication.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/oauth/token
Thank you.
D.
