could you please any idea how can i use SAP B1 9.3 for property rental process? Do i need to create rent property i.e Land, as an inventory item?

but i m not sure fixed asset item can be used in marketing document and also it can be developed, in production and also project

In general, until the Asset is in WIP(Work in progress), it can be tracked using an Inventory item. Once it is completed it should be in Asset since it is an asset for the company.

While posting rent documents, we should not use Asset item since we are not selling asset rather renting. Alternatively you can define Service items per asset representing the Rental per asset which in turn can be used in Marketing documents.

As I said earlier, if you plugin already designed Property add-on from some partners which should take care of the above !

Hi,

I believe all the properties should be defined as Fixed Asset item. Your tenants should be Customers (at BPMD).

In order to maintain contracts with Tenants, you may have a UDT or UDO.

I suggest to look for any partner add-on if your company is more into Property Rentals, else you need to customize yourself using SDK. Since you need to have Billing wizard, which should generate monthly bills based on the active property and active Tenants (based on active contracts).
