sap analytics cloud S/4 HANA on premise import data connection no authorization

I am trying to create a new acquired data connection from SAP analytics cloud to on premise S/4 1809 system.

The O Data Services used for this is active in the /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE. When I Call the service URL in the Broswer my credentials work. When I put this service url in this connection it says

The user doesn't have permission to access the requested resource.

Looks like the service

/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/CATALOGSERVICE;v=2

is configured properly with no alias. This exact issue is described in KBA 2710679 with no resolution yet.

Also I tried to add authorization to this service CATALOGSERVICE in pfcg but it could not find an active TDIR Service object with this name.

Any hints are appreciated. Thanks.
