Stock split by storage location in MD04 by making Sloc Not relevant for MRP

Hi All,

Want to see the stocks at storage location level in MD04, currently in ECC it is working by making the storage location not relevant to mrp we can see the split in stock wherein it doesnt consider the stock of different locations in MRP which are not relevant

But as we are working on S4 Hana we are not able to get the same output here, after making the storage location irrelevant for MRP it does not affect in MD04, also when I look at md04 for a material in ECC which is issued to the vendor for sub con process it shows, stock at vendor location like we have the vendor name and stock against it as a Sub con Stock, so wanted to know if this is possible in S4H

Hi,

Subcontracting process requirements visibility in S/4HANA system changed and it is easier to plant subcontracting requirements at each subcontractor. Please check the below blog for more info.

Hello,

The storage location planned separately or excluded from MRP is no longer available on S/4 HANA because of the simplification. In S/4 HANA system MRP only plans on plant and MRP area level. You can use MRP area as alternative, it covers same business requirements.

MRP area with MRP type 'ND' (no MRP) can be used instead of storage location excluded from MRP.

The report MRP_AREA_STORAGE_LOC_MIGRATION can give more details about missing storage locaction MRP Areas.
