Hi,
I am a new SAP user therefore please excuse me if I use the wrong terminology. I have created a raw material in the wrong plant. If I create again the same material in the correct plant (i.e. extend the material), is it going to be an issue? As per my understanding, it should not be an issue if in the next steps I recall the raw material from the correct plant. I am worried that the system might double-count things if I create the same material twice, even if it's in two different plants and I use only the correct plant.
Please advise.
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
You can flag the material for deletion in MM06 for wrong plant.
Also you can set plant specific status in Purchasing or MRP1 view to block material for any usage.
The plant-specific material status restricts the usability of the material for the plant concerned, that is, it defines whether a warning or error message is displayed if you include the material in a particular function.
Best Regards,
R.Brahmankar
