Doubt of using one client to connect to SAP B1 9.3 server running locally as well as remotely???

I have installed SAP B1 9.3 server components on remote server running with Microsoft server 2016 and client components on local machine running windows 8.1.

Now, I would like to install server components on the local machine that is having the client installed so, that I can use the system at home.

My doubt is, can I use the single client to connect to two server running on local machine as well as on remote machine?

Technically you can connect to two machines by changing the Server connection but you will face issue if you have any add-on installed and using (since the add-on registration may differ at SBOCommon of local machine and same of remote machine).

Personally it is not advised to have same client for more than one server.
