Linking users for Logon between Sales an Marketing Cloud

Hi,

In the integration between Sales and Marketing Cloud,

For example on the Marketing Permissions, the button "edit marketing permissions" on Sales Cloud, opens a link to Marketing Cloud.

However, you need to log in in SAP Marketing Cloud when doing so.

This is quite cumbersome.

Is there a possibility when clicking through from Sales to Marketing Cloud that these are "seamlessly integrated" as the C/4 portfolio is supposed to be and you don't need to login again? (or have different passwords, forget one, reset it, etc etc).

Or do you immediately need to set up a whole SSO setup with Active Directory and all that to achieve this?

Kr,

Hi Joyca,

as Theo mentioned, you can also integrate the IAS with Sales Cloud and use it for Login.

Since SAP Jam comes with Sales Cloud there's also an IAS included in that package. But unfortunately you're not allowed to use it for Sales Cloud and need an additional licenses.

Hi Joyca,

I think the users must exist in both solutions and SAP Sales Cloud must be connected to the same IDP as SAP Marketing Cloud.

Active Directory is not needed.
