The different between HANA and Netweaver

Hello experts, im pretty confused at the moment i start to read something about HANA and the XSA system. My "problem" is now that it seems that i understand something wrong. With HANA i got a Database and with HANA XSA i can provide programs, With SAP Netweaver too. Where is the different or the connection between them.

And when i have an UI5 Application which should connect to an ABAP Service which tool should i take ?
