BO 4.1 promotion issue with date prompts

Promotion Management job in 4.1 to 4.2 is causing Date Formats in input prompts to change from mm/dd/yy to mon/dd/yy this is causing error in BI Launchpad only. We are promoting Crystal rpt files and do not know why CMC is different from BI Launchpad.

After I open it in local Crystal designer, and save it back in the repository, it behaves fine. But when promoted to QA server, it is reverting to mon/dd/yy format and throwing an error at input itself. How do we get around this?
