We are using Crystal Reports 2013 I am grouping on Department and User. Each department starts on a new page but has varying numbers of users so will span more than one page. My problem is that I don't want a new user's details to start on a page if there is not enough room left for all their detail lines and their total. The number of detail lines per user will vary.
I'm going to assume that you're grouping on the user - if you're not, you need to.
Right-click on the user group and go to "Change Group...". On the Options tab, select "Keep Group Together". This should give you what you're looking for.
