i am not able to edit query in infoview , even though i have access to that particular universe and the edit query option is greyed out to me. Can someone help please...
Here's at least part of what denis.konovalov was talking about when he said you haven't provided the details:
1. Where are you editing the query? In Webi?
2. What browser are you using and what's the version of the browser?
Also, there's actually three places where you need to look at security for this:
1. The universe (which you've mentioned.)
2. The connection.
3. If this is a webi report, then the Webi Application.

Hi,
Check that you has the Right to "Edit Query"
Maybe a permissions issue? Try logging in as an administrator
I had same case like that and I resolved my problem with following below steps ( It will be best to logging in as an Administrator account to CMC)
CMC-> Access Level -> Included Rights -> Application -> Web Intelligence -> Desktop Interface - enable local data providers
Hope this helps.
Thanks

There was no desktop interface available for Webi in XI.
