UI Generation in SAP custom business object app S/4 HANA On-Premise

Hello Experts,

I am trying to the use the custom business object app in S/4 HANA On-Prem .

I have created the Business object however I am not able to see the Generate UI check box is SAP providing this only on the On-Premise.If so how to create a maintenance for the business object.

SAP has not provided this option we have to build a custom Fiori App.

As of today (S/4Hana 1909 On-Prem), the option "UI-Generation" is only available for S/4Hana on Cloud. For On/Any-Premise, you have to use SAP WEB IDE and generate a Fiori-Elements App, using the generated OData-Service.

It will be probably provided at some later point also for on premise.

My 2 cents to this: The Custom-Business Objects App should be used by Key-Users. If a Key-User is not solely able to create the Custom Business Object, end-to-end, which means, including the UI, and if he needs a developer to ask him kindly to create the UI using the SAP WEB IDE, or some other tool for UI generation, then this is a design flaw. jocelyn.dart What is your opinion on this? What is the reason not to provide this to the S4HANA on-premise edition? Have this point resolved on S4HANA 2020 version?

Completly agree with you. Unfortunately, there is a note which confirm that : 2940031 - How can a Custom Business Object be populated?

Totally agree... I searched for a couple of hours how to generate the UI from Custom Business Object...I supposes was my authorization issue...thanks to this answer I found it,

this is an amazing "low code" fiori app to generate business objects and it should be included the generation of UI Fiori Elements
