SUM Error on phase PREP_CONFIGURATION/ASKSWITCHES

Hello

I'm running SUM for applying SPS of EHP6 for ERP 6.0 and EHP3 for NetWeaver 7.0, but an error below occured on phase ASKSWITCHES.

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_CONFIGURATION/ASKSWITCHES! Last error code set:

Internal error: Unable to decide about kernel structure conversion via stack file '\BW(ABAP)_SPS\MP_Stack_1000657036_20190313_.xml'

And I found the following messages on ASKSWITCHES.LOG.

2WETQ399 Unknown PPMS number in '\BW(ABAP)_SPS\MP_Stack_1000657036_20190313_.xml', cannot decide about 70 or 73!

1EETQ399 Last error code set is: Internal error: Unable to decide about kernel structure conversion via stack

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Hi Kazuaki,

I assume your system is configured in a wrong way. When I see the components of the stackfile then you have a Netweaver system with ERP components and not an ERP system. So I assume it is wrong configrued in LMDB.
So, there is no Netweaver 7.03. Netweaver 7.03 is the underlaying Netweaver of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6. According to the components of your system you have a SAP Netweaver 7.31 system with ERP components as an addon installed.

Please check SAP Note 1326576 for further information.
Due to the component structure of SEM-BW, FINBASIS, LSOFE, and ERECRUIT, the product system within LMDB on Solution Manager must be no longer modeled as an SAP ERP system if installed on standalone NetWeaver.

Please correct the data in LMDB, generate a new stackfile and run the SUM from scratch.

I have selected SAP KERNEL 7.22 EXT 64-BIT UC in Maintenance Planner.

Could you please tell me if I selected the wrong version of kernel files?

Hi Kazuaki,

can you please check the kernel selection again which has been done in Maintenance Planner? Perhaps you choose a wrong kernel. Please check SAP Note 1847828 for further help.
