LSMW recording fails only for a particular user.

Hi, I have a query regarding LSMW. We have created a Batch input recording for assigning a Task List to Maintenance Orders. The steps involved are -> Execute LSMW, it opens up transaction IW32, picks the Order number from the input file, and follows the path -> Extras -> Task List Selection -> Direct Entry -> Task List Group is picked from the input file. A pop-up appears with "Should Operations be deleted" -> select "No", Another pop-up appears -> Operation selection using Work center/replace work center appears -> select "All" -> A pop-up appears "Operation Selection" -> Select "All" and then save the order. While this recording works when executed from our ID's the recording fails for one particular user ID (let's say ABC) because for that user ID, pop-ups mentioned above do not appear.

We have checked and compared roles, default values, parameters etc of that user ID (ABC) with ours and it's the same. We created another Test user ID which is basically a replica of ABC and it works fine. But when the LSMW is executed from ABC's ID, it fails. We see that when we try to assign a Task List manually through IW32, the pop-ups don't appear for ABC but it appears for all the other ID's with which we have tested.

Any advice on how to find the problem and resolve this will be appreciated.

You can try running trace (SQL trace, security trace, etc.) for that user but this might be needle in a haystack search expedition, unfortunately.

Does it also work the same way for this user if they login from another machine? I'd also try to eliminate something on their laptop as a possible cause. It's unlikely but not improbable.
