Dear experts,
I am having trouble to browse some tables via SE16/SE16N, for example table EINA.
As soon as I try to browse EINA table, I get error "You are not authorized to display this table".
What I need is to find out which role allows this table.
As some production roles gives me access to tables which containst production info (MARC, MARA etc), and logistics roles gives me logistics table access, same way I need to find out which roles allows which table.
So far I have tried to search AGR_1251 (Object "S_TABU_NAM", Field "Table", Low "EINA") but it gave me no result...
Thank you
Hello Jiri
As you already mentioned, you require authorization to S_TABU_NAM, but it might be that the authorization settings in regards to tables, in your organization, are based on the authorization object S_TABU_DIS.
S_TABU_DIS checks on the authorization group assigned to the table. You can check the authorization groups assigned to tables via table TDDAT.
Please also check SNote 1434284 - FAQ | Authorization concept for generic table access.
Kind
regards
Arno
