Hello everyone,
MDN is a Message Disposition Notification. It looks like the SAP-PO checks the syntax of the EDI MSG before he sends a positive MDN.
Is my assumption correct? Can I switch the syntax check for the MDN off?
The function of MDN is a confirmation of a successful transmitting and not a valid msg!
How do you guys handle it?
We are Using a SAP-PO NW731 SP 09 & B2B 1 SP4
Please help.
Thanks
Sercan
Hi Sercan,
A MDN message is a Message Delivery Notification.
A partner offers messages, via AS2, to your SAP PO system and the system sends back an MDN.
And yes, the structure is checked and validated. The MDN nature is rather technical.
Kind regards,
Dimitri
