CBMA Alerts for SMS

Hi Folks,

I have configured CBMA alerts in PO 7.4 and I can able to get alerts in EMAIL format. But, I need alerts in SMS format.

As per help.sap.com link we can get alerts in EMAIL OR SMS. but I didnt understand how would I get SMS. Here I am not using SOLMAN.

Even I have checked SMS alerts in CBMA. Is there any other options to get SMS. Without Custom developement cant get SMS alerts.

Hi Sreenivas,

The AlertConsumerJob contains the logic to send the alerts to Email server but there is no logic exist for send the alerts SMS Server in the current program so you cannot send the alerts to SMS, you need to write your own program to read the alerts from the JMS queue and send the alerts to SMS server.
