Approve travel request app working fine for me ,.

Problem is while i am doing the approval through My inbox app.

i am able to see all the task details in my inbox , if i click on any ( other than first row ) row it s keep on loading and getting the error as configuration incomplete as attached screen in main post.

You can use Approve Travel Requests app. Is there any missing function in the Approve Travel Requests app?

When you get S/4HANA, it works in My Inbox.

Hi Hussain,

You can use many apps (many tiles) for approval.

A:

Home Group

  + Approve Requisitions - 20

  + Approve Leave Requests - 0

  + Approve Time sheet - 9

  + Approve Travel Requests - 5

  + Approve ABC - 3  (My Inbox)

  + Approve ZXY  -2  (My Inbox)

B:

Home Group

  + My Inbox - 39

A:

When end user opens Fiori Launchpad, user sees 3 - 6 approval "task tiles" with workitem count based on the task. Approve Travel Requests is one of tiles, Approve Requisitions is one of tiles and Approve ABC is one of tiles.

Approve Travel Requests tile -> Approve Travel Requests app starts.

Approve ABC tile                   -> My Inbox starts.

End users don't care actual app name. They see the task name on the tile.

End users like tile by task because tile gives workitem count and can easily find the important task.

B:

If there is only one tile, end users can not see workitem count by task.

thanks for suggesting me to use individual approval apps.

do you have any idea in that error or is it not possible to configure travel request approval in My inbox(EHP7).

Hi Hussain,

It does not work out of the box. You need to extend the standard app.

3 activities are required to make it work.

1. Extending the standard app - Routing view
2. Extending the standard app - App parameters
3. SWFVISU configuration

Your error is that app is going to open the WebDynpro app but something is not configured or notes for SAP Business Workflow is missing in the ERP.
