Dso Activation Error

Hi,

I am using BI 7.0 version.  I am having the below problem while activating my DataStore Object.

The datasource is a view  and loaded the data to PSA using infopackage.

The psa data is loaded fine to New table of DSO.

I manually activated my DSO and I get the following error(s) in the log.

Request is already (partially) activated; no further QM action possible

Data Package 000467

Value '100424' of characteristic 0CALMONTH is not plausible

Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0CALMONTH

Process 000467 returned with errors

I tried to even deleting datasource and DSO and created them again and do the activation and still get the same error while activating.

Could you please let me know the resolution for this problem

Hi Amit,

please delete your DSO activation failed request.

at PSA, try to keep filter on calmonth info object or calmonth related ecc field.

lets try to find the value 100424 - this value is wrong, lets compare other records and check it.

Other wise, based on your data, seek functional/source team help to use correct calmonth value there.

Once you maintain correct entry there, save and re load psa data to DSo and repeat dso activation step.

I have founded  the entry in PSA table and corrected it manually.

Hi Amit,

It is a data related error, not Datasource & DSO definition.

0CALMONTH is not accepting the '100424' value (year = 1004 & Month = 24), please check the data once at source and make sure valid data is loaded into DSO. If you cannot fix the source data then try to change the data in PSA and reload it to DSO.
