What happens to Batch Master on S/4 Hana? Can we eliminate CIF procedure and have real time batch master update to EWM without any separate Automatic Job set up?
Hi Trivedi,
I don't know if I understand you correcctly, but the Integartion of EWM is one if the expected innovatiosn for the upcomming release S/4HANA 1610
To my understanding, if you run EWM integrated with your S/4HANA system, there is no need for CIF anymore.
hope this helps a little

Hi,
as Joachim wrote, in the embedded version the plan is that you have no CIF anymore. And you have only one batch master data record.
But: "Can we eliminate CIF procedure and have real time batch master update to EWM without any separate Automatic Job set up?" You don't need separate jobs for batches anyway. Batches are always immediately updated, also in a decentral EWM.
