ESS - Personal Profile - Blank screen

Hi,

SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 5

SAP Porta; 7.30.3710.182851.20120113163657

FROM R/3 SICF, I tried to test the service HRESS_A_PERSINFO.

for testing the Personal Profile from backend itself as I am facing issue in Portal.

EVEN in the ECC backend I am getting the issue that I am getting blank page.

I tried from SAP Portal --> System admin --> Support --> test run the same by provide configuration name, still the same error.

do not test it from SICF, if you test it will open with out application config parameter. So it will show the blank screen.

Test it from SE80, you have to test the HRESS_AC_PERSINFO then it will open.

Make sure your url contains the parameter  sap-wd-configId=HRESS_AC_PERSINFO

I tried testing from SE80 but still still I am facing issue.

When I used below:

Server Host Name: I am getting 500 Internal server error.

ex: http://serverHostName.com:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/hress_a_persinfo?sap-client=120&sap-language=EN&...

Note: I had made Host file entry.

When I use IP address; It is asking for login credentials, even though I am providing the valid credential. It is NOT getting logged in, instead same login screen to enter credentials.

do not run with ip address, it should be fqdn host name  only.

And for that assert error, did you done all required configurations ?

Did you check the ST22 log ? check the log you can identify where it's giving this dump.
