EWM to IM transfer posting within plant

I have a rather strange issue for which I'd like your input. The case:

I want to transfer a material from my EWM-managed storage location (E001) to a IM-managed storage location (0001). Both slocs are assigned to the same plant.

First step was to perform a 311-posting via MIGO. As expected, the system creates an outbound delivery (del. type DOG, item cat DOGN) and distributes it to the EWM-warehouse. In EWM, I can process this outbound delivery order (Doc. type OUTB, Item type ODTR) according to the normal process. When I Post Goods issue, a material document is created in ECC as expected.

However, now the strange part: in the Material Document, the issuing and receiving storage location are the same, namely the EWM-managed storage location (E001). So this means that on IM-level the material is still available at the EWM-managed sloc. However, in EWM it is not available anymore because I issued it. This is of course not as expected, I would expect that the destination storage location was 0001 as entered during the MIGO posting.

Any idea what could cause this behavior? I'm sure that I entered the from and to slocs correctly during the MIGO posting so that can't be it.

Hello Hahn,

Could you please try one more time sloc(EWM) to sloc(IM) transfer and check the entries.
