Multiple Pegging Area Generated for the same product location - PPDS

Hi Experts,

We have been seeing that 1 product-location combination is displayed twice in detailed scheduling planning board under products chart. On checking the pegging area, there are 2 different pegging areas (with 2 different planning segment type) created for the same product-location combination.

We dont find any consistencies on running OM17 for product location as well.

Can someone please help us understand why this is happening and how to rectify it ?

Raja,

The best way to remove pegging area inconsistency is by running program /SAPAPO/DM_PEGKEY_REORG, execute the program in test mode and check for inconsistencies or obsolete pegging area.

Before you run the above program, check the planning file entries using T-code: /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH, select the fields with planning file entry and under control parameters display the planning file.
