delete master data without touch transaction data

Hi,

     I have some issue data in 0HRPOSITION , which is used in multiple cubes and DSOs. I know I have to delete relevant transaction data for those cubes and DSOs before deleting those issue data. but I don't want to perform any deletion for transaction data, is there anyway I can delete master data without touch transaction data? and also this master data deletion will not impact on others?

Hi Bo Zhang ,

Each transaction data is completely depend on master data.means without master data we can't create transactions .

So it is impossible to delete master data ,without deleting transaction data.

Hi,

if the master data used in data targets, unfortunately, it can't be deleted without cleaning them from where used list.
